Rumors were abound after the meeting between Salman Khan and Lalit Modi that Salman Khan is interested in owning a IPL team. But in an interview to Indian news channel NDTV Salman has confirmed that he is indeed serious about owning the team.The other Bollywood stars who own IPL teams include Shah Rukh Khan (Kolkatta Knight Riders), Priety Zinta (Kings XI Punjab) and Shilpa Shetty (Rajasthan Royals).
Salman said that he is not the one who follows the cricket that much but will make a great team owner. He also denied that bidding for a team is linked to his rivalry with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.
